5 Top Villains In Call Of Duty

1 years ago By AI Smith

In video games, villains often carry out horrible acts that cause dramatic shifts in the plot and provide incredibly moving scenes that stick with us forever. The creation of these situations is nothing new for Call of Duty. The majority of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players can remember their thoughts and sentiments after seeing General Shepherd shoot Ghost and Roach in the game.

It’s one of the franchise’s pinnacle moments. The antagonists in every Call of Duty game have acted incredibly brutally toward either the characters or the plot as a whole. The top 10 villains in the series, in order of brutality, are listed below.

The most famous video game franchise of all time is undoubtedly Call of Duty. Even those who have never played it understand what it’s about, and those who have are hooked. Its villains continue to hold a lot of attraction. These individuals contribute to the story’s depth and produce memorable epic moments for the players. Every villain has a fascinating backstory and, of course, will do anything to accomplish their nefarious objectives. Without further ado, here are the most vicious villains this franchise has ever produced.

5 Top Villains In Call Of Duty

General Shepherd

One of the most recognizable antagonists in video game history is Shepherd. One of the most iconic sequences in the Call of Duty franchise and the first significant storyline turn that really remained with players was the betrayal scene in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Fans continue to speak about this twist still. While many people will never be able to forgive Shepherd for betraying Ghost and Roach, there is no denying how excellent his performance was in projecting a sense of reliability. In the end, gamers were able to exact the most pleasurable form of retribution on him as Soap.

Vladimir Makarov

Shepherd’s demise was brought about by Modern Warfare 2. Players still had to deal with Makarov, though. He is essentially the climactic antagonist of the first Modern Warfare trilogy. Some people consider Makarov’s sinister crimes to be some of the most sinister things a Call of Duty villain has ever done.

Makarov was a real nuisance to deal with, from the airport mission through killing Soap. When the main characters were so close to taking him out, he always managed to escape. It will be very intriguing to watch whether Makarov makes a comeback in a Modern Warfare reboot sequel so that players can exact further retribution on him.

Raul Menendez

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was a fantastic game and sequel overall. It enhanced the best aspects of the earlier game and turned them up to 1000. The game introduced a brand-new antagonist who had strong ties to the plot and characters in Black Ops 1, and the action now takes place in a future setting with drones, cutting-edge weapons, and stunning locales. He went by the name Raul Menendez, and he was undoubtedly a weak opponent.

He had reasons for acting in a way that made sense to the plot. He proved to be an iconic villain, though not on the same level as Makarov.

Fredrich Steiner

One of the key antagonists in Call of Duty: Black Ops is German scientist and ex-Nazi Fredrich Steiner, who collaborated closely with Nikita Dragovich on the creation of Nova 6, a biological weapon that could quickly kill anyone exposed to it.

Throughout the conflict, Steiner became a high target, and Alex Mason, pretending to be Viktor Reznov, was eventually responsible for his death. Alex Mason was persuaded by Steiner to act as a sleeper agent who would turn on his fellow soldiers, and Steiner bears some of the blame for this.

DeFalco

This persona was cool and enigmatic right away. He starts shooting hostages and shoots someone in the face after being first encountered and proving to be an outstanding character. He flies into the distance if players are unable to catch up to him.

Look it up in the dictionary if it isn’t evil. DeFalco consistently demonstrates his brutality as one of the franchise’s most merciless characters by slitting throats while grinning. This character’s only “defect” is that he lacks the resources of the most cunning villains. But if he had a large arsenal, he would subjugate every antagonist in the series.
