The Imaginary Anime Movie Trailer: Release Date, Characters, When And Where To Watch In USA, Europe And India

The upcoming fantasy anime film from Studio Ponoc has a trailer, titled “Imaginary.” The bestselling book of the same name by A.F. Harrold and Emily Gravett served as the inspiration for the movie. It will make its international premiere on December 15 in Japanese cinemas before getting a 2024 theatrical release all around the world.

The video welcomes viewers to a fantastical realm that exists only in their minds. Rudger, a fictional youngster who must set out on an expedition to return to his creator before becoming completely lost and forgotten, is introduced.

  • Shin: A young man who is a brilliant strategist and a natural leader.
  • Mika: A young woman who is a kind and compassionate healer.

What to Expect in The Imaginary?

Yoshiyuki Momose, who was a member of the animation teams for some of the most well-known anime films, including Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away, Whisper of the Heart, and Porco Rosso, is the director of The Imaginary. Kokoro Terada, Rio Suzuki, Sakura Ando, Riisa Naka, Takayuki Yamada, Atsuko Takahata, and Issey Ogata are among the voice actors for the movie.

The summary describes Rudger as a boy no one can see who lives in a world where imaginations can live and be consumed by others. Rudger was born from a young girl’s imagination. Rudger and his new pals in “The Town of The Imaginaries” set off on a journey that no one can predict at the peril of their loved ones’ futures and destinies in the incredibly moving and stunning hand-drawn fantasy movie “The Imaginary.”

Yoshiaki Nishimura, a former Studio Ghibli producer, is in charge of making the movie. The anime film Mary and the Witch’s Flower and Modest Heroes were produced by the Japanese animation company Studio Ponoc.
