The game of Call of Duty received two updates in the month of August 2023. First on 8th August 2023, followed by a second one eight days later on 16th August 2023. Naturally, the two updates brought a host of new content, modifications, weapons and something that fans look forward to – bug fixes.

All Bugs That Got Fixed In Call Of Duty August 2023

Below are all the bug fixes Call of Duty received in August 2023:

8th August Call of Duty update bug fixes:

  • The issue that could occur when saving a custom Blueprint with an event camo was fixed
  • An issue that could prevent correct navigation in a section of the Faction Showdown UI was fixed.
  • An issue that caused some Battle Pass sectors to display mismatched “Available COD Points” was fixed.
  • An issue where, if a Channel member adds additional Players while the Channel creator has the Channel open, that Player can be kicked back to the main menu was fixed.
  • An issue where the Throwback Audio Pack 2 was displaying an incorrect Billboard was fixed.
  • An issue where a crash could occur when entering the Sticker 3 option for the FR Avancer was fixed.
  • An issue where using a weapon with an Integrated Suppressor will ping a Player’s location on the minimap with an active enemy UAV despite Ghost being active was fixed.
  • An issue where the Carrack .300’s CF-Bipod and Flintfire Bipod barrels displayed the same stats was fixed.
  • An issue causing the Battle Pass to appear incorrectly after purchasing BlackCell was fixed.
  • An issue where the cursor could become stuck while navigating menus with a controller was fixed.
  • An issue that could cause the Snoop Dogg Operator Finishing Move to behave incorrectly was fixed.
  • An issue where using throwable equipment underwater could cause an incorrect visual indicator was fixed.
  • An issue affecting some Operator voice lines was fixed.
  • An issue causing some Players to experience “Dev Error 7186” was fixed.

16th August Call of Duty Update bug fixes

  • An issue where some Players could not access the Battle Pass, but would still lose CP after purchasing it was fixed.
  • An exploit allowing Players to go prone instantly was fixed.
  • An issue where Akimbo challenge progress was not tracking correctly for the FTAC Siege was fixed.
  • An issue where an invisible object could interact with lethals, tacticals, and explosives on Mercado Las Almas was fixed.

  • An issue affecting key binds when adding settings as Quick Settings was fixed.
  • An issue where the buttons for ‘Preview’ and ‘Quick Equip’ hide when trying to press them by mouse input in the Events tab was fixed.
  • An issue where the Tonfa melee weapon had outdated unlock conditions was fixed.
  • An issue where the SFX from the Semtex dropped by the Chain Reaction modifier in Havoc would not play as intended was fixed.
  • An issue where equipping the “Battle Buddy AI” Gun Screen could cause an error was fixed.
  • Apart from these bug fixes in the global GS:GO game, the developer also introduced a number of bug fixes in the Warzone version of the game in both the updates.
