Diablo IV debuts patch 1.0.3, new updates, more features, other skills and more

1 years ago By AI Smith

Today, it is unthinkable to envision a video game that does not receive constant updates, and even more so if it is a title the size of Diablo IV. The news from Blizzard has released its promised “big” update with version 1.0.3, and if you are a player of this RPG you should know the most important changes coming to Sanctuary.

Filled with fixes and tweaks throughout, the new version of Diablo is one of the most extensive to be released since its release earlier this month. A myriad of bugs have been fixed: from events and dungeons to endless gameplay tweaks, there’s a lot to review here.

Some of the most curious arrangements affect for English fans. If you play in English, you may have failed to create a clan. This has been fixed. The real crunch here is the gameplay changes to the title. Some of them we already knew about, like the increase in experience of nightmare dungeons, but we have more news.

Helltide chests now also give significantly more experience when opened, as will individual whispers once completed. With this, Blizzard wants to offer a better levelling experience for all its players.

In addition, the basic skills of all classes have been improved. If you want to see the exact numbers for your main, we recommend taking a look at the full patch notes for the Diablo IV 1.0.3 update.

Last but not least, our quality of life changes. You will now be able to teleport to your nightmare dungeon directly from the map. On the other hand, the roaming bosses of Helltide will drop better and loot more frequently. To top it off, the weekly bonus caches from world bosses do not have a level requirement to open them.

Other changes coming to Diablo 4

By posting the patch notes, the game developers wanted to let us know what they have in mind for the beginning of Season 1. The density of normal and elite monsters in the final segment of the game will be increased when the season begins.

Diablo IV Success

As reported by Blizzard in a press release last week, Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo IV has surpassed the barrier of $666 million in the five days of launch. These incomes have also been thanks to microtransactions, which have been the subject of controversy  since some cosmetics cost up to 25 euros in Diablo 4.

The company has also shared other statistics that show the great reception of the game. In this way, 276 million hours have been exceeded and players have killed 276,000 million demons. However, users have also died 316 million times. The true heroes of the community have been the 163 people who have reached the maximum level in Hardcore Mode, that is, permanent death where you lose all your character, time and objects.
