PMGC 2023 League Stage Slots, Qualifications, Teams, Date And Time

The largely- anticipated PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 (PMGC 2023) will start on November 2 and conclude on December 10 in Istanbul, Turkey. Organised by Krafton and Level Infinite, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 is the final event of the 2023 PUBG Mobile competitive season. The PMGC 2023 offline eSports event will see 50 teams contend for the coveted title.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 dates and schedule

The fourth edition of PUBG Mobile Global Championship will be held in two phases.

The League stage of the PMGC 2023 will be held from November 2 to November 26.

The PMGC 2023 Grand Tests will take place from December 8- 10.

  • League Stage – November 2-26
  • Grand Finals – December 8-10

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 format

As many as 48 teams will feature in the league stage of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023. These 48 teams will contend for 14 places in the Grand Finals.

In the PMGC 2023 Grand Finals, two invited teams will join the 14 top teams from the league stage to battle for the title. A total of 18 matches will be held in the Grand Finals stage to determine the winner.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 places distribution

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 has granted maximum places to Southeast Asia. A total of 11 places have been allocated to Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and the SEA Wild Card each secure 1 place.

South Asia has been assigned six places, including one each to Pakistan and South Asia and four places for SA Championship Fall.

PMGC 2023 has designated seven places for Europe in total. The five of the seven places are reserved for EU Championship Fall, while Europe and Turkiye each hold one spot each.

The Americas region has been granted seven places, with four places assigned to AM Championship Fall, and one place each assigned for Latin America, Brazil, and North America.

The Middle East and Africa region have six places, with four places handed for MEA Championship Fall and one place each allocated to Africa and Arabia.

China has been given three places in PMGC 2023. Meanwhile, South Korea and Japan have entered five places.

A marquee event has also been included in the event named, Global Invite- only places, with one slot reserved for the PMWI winners, awarded to the champion region, and two special invite places.

  • South Asia Championship: 4Merical Vibes, NB Esports, IHC Esports, Seventh Element.
  • PEL Summer 2023: Team Weibo, Tianba.
  • PEL Qualifier: Six Two Eight.
  • PMPS 2023 S3: Duksan Esports.
  • Korea Points: Dplus.
  • Indonesia: Persija Evos.
  • Thailand: Vampire Esports
  • Malaysia: Yoodo Alliance 
  • Vietnam: D’Xavier
  • SEA Wildcard: Genesis Esports
  • South Asia: Stalwart Esports
  • Pakistan: AGONxi8 Esports
  • Arabia: Nigma Galaxy
  • Africa: Falcons White
  • North America: N Hyper Esports
  • Brazil: Loops Esports
  • PMWI Champions Region: HAIL Esports

Teams that have qualified from the Europe region are yet to be revealed and the same is the case with some other regions like Latin America, Japan and the MEA Championship.

Two other ‘ special invites ’ are also anticipated to make it to the event. Details of these invites are yet to be announced, but numerous presume that it’ll be handed to the winners and runner ups of the ongoing BGIS event.

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 has a total prize pool of$ 3 million USD.

Diverse Regional Representation

The excitement is increased by the diversity of the competing teams. Slots have been strategically distributed by regions by Tencent, ensuring a diverse pool of talent from throughout the world. There are 11 teams from Southeast Asia, 6 from South Asia, 6 from the Middle East/Africa, and 7 from each of the Americas and Europe. While four teams have been given special invitations, China, South Korea/Japan, and Japan each have four and five seats available. Additionally, the PMWI (PUBG Mobile World Invitational) will extend an invitation to one team.

Rising Stars and Past Legends

A gallery of well-known giants can be seen at PMGC 2023. Veterans like Nigma Galaxy from Arabia, Alter Ego from Indonesia, Stalwart Esports from South Asia, Duksan and Dplus from South Korea, and Stalwart Esports from South Asia have all displayed impressive proficiency in their respective regions. It will be intriguing to watch how the competition plays out to see if these young players can make an impression on the world stage.

Unexpectedly, teams like Nova Esports and DRS Gaming, the runners-up in the PMGC 2022, who were beloved by fans in prior iterations, did not get in this year. As a result, PMGC 2023 will be an unpredictable battleground where new heroes will rise to the fore.
